CARER

CARER is a developer, producer and distributor of moving and handling equipment. The company is based in Cotignola (RA), Italy and is a leading innovator of electric forklift trucks with a loading capacity between 800 – 25,000 kg.

The history of the company CARER

In 1976 CARERSrl was created in Northern Italy with the purpose of providing goods-handling solutions for the global industry. Its first forklift trucks (P Series) were qualified for use in foundries. In 1977 the company already produced the Three-Wheel forklift 1200/3 – 1500/3 and the Four-Wheel forklift C150, C180, C200 and C250. Three years into production CARER was already known for the fastest forklifts on the market and CARER was the first Italian company to use electronics with energy reclamation. Introducing CARER forklift models with a loading capacity of 8500 kg in the late 1980s contributed to its secure market position. In 1997 CARER received the certification UNI EN ISO 9001 and in 2003 the certification UNI EN ISO 9001:2000. Their high productivity and stability ensure storage of goods at maximum heights.

Main products

The production plant in Cotignola covers 5000 m² with an additional 2000 m², where 300 forklift trucks are being produced every year. CARER excels in the quality of its products, providing compact, reliable and long-lasting forklift trucks. The production range covers 46 different models with a load-bearing capacity between 800 – 25,000 kg. CARER forklifts are perfectly suited for application in a variety of industries, like the iron, steel and automobile industries; the paper and wood industries; the radioactive waste and beverages industries and at ports and logistics centers. Not only do the machines simplify heavy loading, but they also create less irritating smoke and exhaust gases.
