MAGGI

MAGGI Engineering is an Italian manufacturer of woodworking machinery and accessories with its headquarters in the town of Certaldo in Tuscany, some 40km from Florence. MAGGI Engineering places great importance on the Italian heritage of arts and crafts and says that the continued success of the company lies in drawing on a combination of creativity and experience.

A history of MAGGI Engineering Srl

MAGGI Engineering was founded in 1963 in the same Tuscan town where it retains its headquarters and manufacturing facility today. The first equipment it made was a specialist range of automatic feeders. From the start, MAGGI Company placed great emphasis on the high quality of its machines, produced by a team of expert staff and technicians. The main markets for MAGGI Engineering's products are in both the handcraft and industrial industries. The initial range gradually expanded over the decades from the original line of automatic feeders and included first radial arm saws and later the latest line of multiple boring machines. MAGGI Engineering believes now that it is one of the leading producers of boring machines in the world. Some 85% of the output of the MAGGI Products factory in Tuscany is exported, with markets in some 80 countries. The staff is a closely-knit unit of 60 people and MAGGI Engineering says its future expansion lies in further development of its range of high-tech products, while concentrating on the market sectors where it has gained such an enviable reputation worldwide.
